Workshop Facilities

Glenfield Engineering's office and workshop facilities are located in Gotoon, Kilmallock, Co. Limerick, Ireland. Our location facilitates easy access to industrial centres and seaports for export contracts.

All pipework, steelwork and modular fabrication to support Glenfield Engineering's site mechanical division is undertaken in Kilmallock. All vessel design and fabrication is also undertaken in this location.

Workshop facilities extend over 3,000 sq. m with 3 hectares of concreted lay-down area. There are two separate fabrication workshops, a machine workshop, shot-blast facility and paintshop. Material handling capabilities range from 20 tonne to 3.2 tonne gantry cranes in addition to 1 tonne pillar cranes.

Semi-automatic and automatic MIG, TIG, submerged arc and AMI closed and open head orbital welding plants are used with welding procedures qualified to ASME 1X and EN288.
